ANYTHING GOES, CELEBRATIONS, USE METALLICS....
So this is what I have made....

So it was my MIL's 81st birthday and I thougth I would make her something special that would fit the challenge for this week perfectly....so what I did was, I altered a Choclitbar, worked on it with papers and lots of Glassy Gel......dies, a fabulous Vintage image and lots of Golden Metallic PanPastels.....put some lace on the project and thought to myself that it was missing something.....

So what was missing was.....a card to go with it offcourse....so I used the same cute Vintage Image...and I could swear that she just looked like my MIL.....really I am not kidding you know.....
so again for the background I worked with these fabby papers.....and placed lace....on top again the fabulous Golden Metallic PanPastels and lots of dies and some fabby flowers on top of a few hearts....and offcourse butterflies.....

So this is my project for this weeks challenge, hope you like it and if you wanna have that much fun making something for a celebration, then you just have to come over to the Premium Craft Brands Challenge and you can join into the fun and while your their you can see my amazing teamies fabulous projects they made for your inspiration.

ART JOURNEY CHALLENGE #41 SCRAPLINGS...

Hey there guys, I thought I would join into the fun in the Art Journey Challenge. I worked on a little scrapling....scraplings are the folded  strips you cut off to turn a rectangular card into a square card. I had lots of fun making the scrapling. Took me a while to make something that I really liked....especially the background but I am pleased with the result.
So here it is. I sure hope you like it......

What did I do to make this scrapling.....well I started out with the paper offcourse and sprayed inks and Distress Stains on the background. Used the fabulous stampset from Art Journey, love all the different faces on this on and the sentiment Life is Full of Important choices......and embossed the stamps....then I sanded the stamps, because they had this bling on it, I wanted to create an allmost invisible face on one side and the other side as you can see is very much visible. I kept it simple and placed a piece of lace on top of the scrapling and to finish the sentiment from the stampset was placed on the scrapling itself.

Thankss for watching and hope you like it.

This is the inside of the agenda and I played with inks...and ribbon...

PREMIUM CRAFT BRANDS CHALLENGE # 1, ANYTHING GOES, FROSTY FINISH

Hey there guys, Happy New Year to you all....we have another fabulous challenge for you it will be the first challenge over at the

Our generous sponsor is Premium Craft Brands and wow she has a fabulous prize for one winner

Right then, on to this weeks challenge which is

Anything goes
with a frosty finish

This is what I made

I worked on a box and made it a Frosty one, at least I think so that you can actually see the frostiness on it lol......The first layer that I added to the box is the Gesso one......waited untill it was dried up and then played with the Iridescent Paste....it gives a nice shimmer to the box as you can see on the picture....after I worked with the Glossy Gel.......

after that layer was dry I placed the heartshaped stencil on the box and worked on it with the Modelling Paste....this way you can see the hearts in a circle....I placed the embossing powder on top and it also has a nice shimmer in it. As you can see on this picture.....the blue PanPastel was added in between the heartshaped stencil. And offcourse I could not resist to play with The Wendy Vecchi's butterfly.....as you might know I just love butterflies, so why not a frosty one. So on top of the butterfly there is Blue PanPastel and the Metallic Silver one and a layer of Crackle Accents to give it a frosty look. I think it looks pretty good eh?

So and here is another picture of the side of the box, so you can see the Iridescent Paste shimmer and being frosty....on top I placed a piece of lace and worked on that aswell with Metallic PanPastel and the blue PanPastel. And there you have it, my finished project for this first challenge in the New Year for Premium Craft Brands...and if you wanna have fun too you can come over to the Premium Craft Brands Challenge Blog and join into the fun and while your there check out my amazing teamies creations guys, they made some fabulous projects for your inspiration.
