All the borders of my project were worked on with the Paper distresser. Have you ever used that little device??? if not you really should consider on getting it cause I can tell ya I am really addicted now, this little thing is really making me smile..LOL....It just gives your project such a nice "old" look....so YESS I admit it, I am an addict LOL.....

I have used Distress inks such as, Vintage Photo, Bundled Sage and Weathered Wood and to mask the background with the Art Parts from The Wendy Vecchi and I have placed some pieces of the Basic Grey Curio Collection Pack. Fun colors and images to work with. The lace and the little medaillons are from my own stash....

The EK success Fleur de Lis Punch was used for the borders of my project and Crackle Accents to give it the extra look.

And this is the whole picture of my project when it is finished.....I hope you like it....So remember the word PRECIOUS....cause everything really....is precious in this world. So you wanna have fun and make your own project with YOUR word.....then come on over to the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Blog and DO join into the fun and while your overthere just check out my AMAZING teamies and do visit their individual blogs to look at the fabulous projects they made....and last thing I want to say to you on this sunny Monday is.....HAVE FUN.....

Oke here we go with this weeks Challenge.....this is what I made for this week....

I made a jewellery cabinet for my daughter, with the message that the "Key is to Believe" (in yourself). Don't know what it is but when I make something there is allways a meaning behind it.....The Metal sentiment is from The Tim Holtz Idea-ology Philosophy Tags.

The background of the whole cabinet was masked with Vintage Photo onto the Leaves, Art Parts from The Wendy Vecchi. I just love these art parts, you can do so many  different things with them....

The jewellry cabinet was topped with the "real" Art Parts Leaves and it was finished with Crackle Accents. The leaves have lots of butterflies from The Wendy Vecchi and the Floral Butterfly from Nellie Snellen and they were colored with Stormy Sky. I just love Butterflies yep I do......so those punches from Nellie Snellen are absolutely wonderfull too, first you punch them out and after that you place the butterfly into the other punch and it will emboss it for you right away. Absolutely fabulous......

So and here is my finished project for this week...and I must say I am pretty pleased about it, my daughter just loves it......thank goodness hihihih, it is just a push for her in the right direction.........

Here we go with this weeks challenge: this is what I made.......

I was thinking what I could make and because of the fab weather lately, I decided to make a Summer Card, with distress inks such as Vintage Photo, Dried Marigold, Rusty Hinge and Stormy Sky .

The fabulous Graphic 45 papers On the Boardwalk were used on the background, the papers have such very nice images.....the postcard is just one of them.

On top of the sentiment I placed the Crackle Accents to give it that extra look.
And this bigger pictures gives you the opportunity to see what Crackle Accents does on your project.....

The borders are made with the EK success Fleur de Lis Punch. For the inside of the card I also worked with the Punch......I just love this punch. And on the bottom a few little shells.
Doesn't this scene reminds you of your childhood when your parents took you to the beach? I reminds me of the fab time I had with my parents and my brother on the beach....we had so much fun....

And here the whole scene the borders are worked on with crackle accents.....this stuff is so much fun to work with and gives your project a little extra.....

This is the right side of the inside of the card, this piece is ready for you to write your personal message into....a little lace on the bottom, I have colored the white lace with the Dried Marigold Distress ink, to give it the right colors and along the lightercolored piece I have placed the Crackle Accents again.....

This is the back of my project, I have masked the EK succes punch onto the card, I thought it would look nice....and I think it does.....don't you? I completely forgot to place my handmade by stamp onto the card hehehe, but ohhh well doesn't matter at all, so this way you can write some more lines onto the back.

And here we have the whole enchelada LOL, this is the front of my finished project, I just love it.....and am very pleased about it, (hahaha and that doesn't happen very often) a Summer Card with Distressed/Torn Edges...wohooooo so guys I hope you will come over to the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Blog and do join into the Challenge for this week, I am sure you will have lots and lots of fun to get your crafting gear out and start crafting.
