wohoooo check this out ladies and gents....cause Simon Says Stamp the Superstore is really a crafters heaven on earth.....

Oke here we go.....this is what I made for this weeks challenge;

I made a Teabox, surrounded by lots of love....the heartshaped border is from Whiff of Joy and the border on the front is from McGill, the Swirlls....

The teabox is worked on with distress inks, colors are Weathered Wood, Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans.

On the front I placed the fabby butterfly from Wendy Vecchi and on top of the box I placed some white roses worked on with the distress rock candy, stickles and glossy accents from Tim Holtz and also the Distress inks. I found a little ribbon in my closet and thought it would be nice to place that one on top of the border.......

A few more butterflies on the roses they just were flattering around in my closet......just looks like they are smelling the roses hehehe....and last but not least the top of the box was embossed with embossingpowder.

This is the back of the Teabox and I thought it would be nice to place a little signature on it...
And this is the box totally finished.....Hope you like it and check out the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Box ladies and gents....and while your at it, just look at the fabby creations of my Teamies....wohooo AMAZING what they made really....

Simon Says Stamp and Show, Show us your Childhood Memory

Hiya ladies and gents, It is Monday wohoooooo here we are again with a fabulous challenge at

Our fabulous regular sponsor is Simon Says Stamp, just check out the superstore, it really is a crafters heaven on earth......

Photobucket

So here we go......

My childhood memory is, listening to fairytales on a tape in my bedroom, this way I had my own dreams and was sometimes living in my own fantasyworld.

I made a fairytale card, using the Tim Holtz Alterations Postcard and Sheet Music to emboss the card and the paperpad from Graphic 45, once upon a springtime .

I have used the papers on both inside and outside of the card. Everything was distressed with Vintage Photo, Victorian Velvet and Forest Green. In my card I have used the masking technique with distress inks. . I placed a few ribbons underneith the image from the Graphic 45 image, makes it look a little different don't you think.
This is the inside of the card, here you can see what the wonderfull embossing Texture fades folders from The Tim Holtz can do...I just love to use those folders.....On the right side you can see what masking does to your project.

And this is my whole project for this weeks challenge.....I call it my fairytale.....lots of eyegoodies lots to see....I just love that papar from Graphic 45. I describes perfectly the way I was when I was a kid. The roses have distress stickles, rock candy and glossy accents on top. And I really love the way it looks for real. Just too bad that you cannot see the card for real.

So ladies and gents you wanna have fun with a fun challenge??? then you come on over to the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge and while your at it, check out those AMAZING projects from my AMAZING teamies..wohoooooo absolutely you gotta take a look oke? You cn even win a fantastic prize wohooooo

DT Call on Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog

Hiya ladies and gents......on Sketch Saturday we have a DT call..I copied the message from my lovely Teamie Jo.....Check this out oke...

Calling all card makers!

We are looking for 2 new design team members

Here's a bit of info about joining SS...

As we are a sketch challenge blog, we don't have freebies to give our DTs,

I don't ever ask for freebies either, I want people to sponsor us and be happy to donate a prize for our winner without thinking they have to give to us too,

so freebies, for us, isn't an issue, although when we are offered them we are extremely grateful of course! :)

Duties would be:

We would require you to make a DT card each week, using the sketch provided.

Your card will need to be ready each Friday before the challenge goes live on the Saturday. If Friday's are busy for you then you can of course upload it earlier. If you are worried about uploading direct to SS then you can upload your pic to our private DT blog where one of us will upload it for you.

I give the Design Team weeks of sketches in advance, so you won't be asked for any last minute cards

We would need you to leave comments each week too, currently 10 comments per 100 entrants, but of course you can comment on more if you wish to, I appreciate that we all lead busy lives so this is why you will be allocated a group of numbers to leave comments for our fab challengers.

You would be required to design a sketch of your own when it's your DT week, currently once a year, although you wouldn't get a DT week until next year as this year is already arranged. Gives you time to see how we do it ;)

When you do have a DT week, I can help you digitise your sketch if you need me to, but the design will be yours and you take the credit.

You would be required to find a sponsor for your DT week, and arrange the prize, email the winner etc.

You would also need to find a Guest Designer for your DT week and for the rest of the month that your DT week falls in. If you are unsure who to ask, I suggest that your GD be someone who actually takes part in our challenges already, as this is a nice way to say thank you.

If you have any questions please ask!

Anyone interested in joining our team please EMAIL ME (Jo) with links to TWO posts from their blog of cards that they consider their best work.

Closing date for entries is 10am (UK time) Friday 21st January.

Thank you xx

Thanks for watching ladies and gents...
Hugs xxxx
